1. Raw rice husks

2. Uses of Rice husk:
+ Raw rice husk has outstanding advantages when used as fuel. The husk after milling is always in a very dry form, small and loose in shape, porous, light, and easy to transport. The composition is high fiber - the molecule is difficult for microorganisms to use, so the preservation and storage are very simple, and the investment cost is low.
+ Using the heat of rice husk to produce electricity: With relatively strong and cheap combustion, rice husk is used to heat the air, turning turbines to generate electricity. According to calculations, each kg of rice husk can generate 0.125kW hours of electricity and 4kW hours of heat, depending on the technology. This application is applied to manufacturing small generators for remote areas.
+ Use as a construction material: Rice husk is finely ground and can be mixed with other ingredients such as coco peat, porous particles, cement, additives, and fiberglass mesh. The weight of the material is about 50% lighter than that of ordinary bricks and has high soundproofing, thermal insulation, and waterproofing properties. This material is suitable for inundated, flooded areas and soft ground. Rice husks can be crushed for recycling after use
+ Using rice husk ash to produce silicon oxide: The ash of rice husk after burning contains more than 80% silicon oxide. Silicon oxide is a substance that is widely used in many fields such as construction, fashion, glassmaking, etc. The utilization of silicon oxide in rice husks is currently of great interest, the aim is to obtain the maximum amount of silicon in a short time. Currently, there has been a successful study on the extraction of silicon oxide by NaOH with high economic efficiency.
+ Some other applications of rice husk: Rice husk can also be used as a water filter device, an insulation device, as a filler, as a substrate in the production of seed, used to polish metal objects, Rice husk ash can be used as fertilizer.
